Building Cathedral In This Mess Should Be The Last Thing On The Government’s Mind- Yvonne Nelson

Yvonne Nelson has slammed Nana Akufo Addo over his intention to build a national cathedral despite the overwhelming opposition from Ghanaians.

The actress and filmmaker suggested in a recent interview on Power Entertainment on Power FM that prayers don’t offer instant results, for which reason the construction of the cathedral has been proposed.

Nelson asked the government to channel the gargantuan money being spent on the cathedral into health care and education.

“I think given the present economic situation, building a church should be the last thing on the government’s mind. They should instead invest in the health or education sectors,” she posted.

“If prayers could fix all of our issues, we wouldn’t still be alive today… I myself frequently pray. “I don’t think anybody prays more than I do,” Yvonne Nelson argued.
