In the latest chapter of the long-standing tension between Nigerian music icons Wizkid and Davido, things took a fiery turn after the two stars found themselves in the same London nightclub.
What could have been a moment of reconciliation quickly spiralled into more drama, with both artists reportedly snubbing each other.

Though the night passed without any direct confrontation, social media quickly lit up with videos of the pair avoiding one another, sparking a frenzy of speculation and debate.
Fans expected some sort of engagement, but instead, they got silent—until Wizkid took to his X (formerly Twitter) account.
In a series of heated posts, he aimed a barrage of insults at Davido’s entourage, fanning the flames of the rivalry once again.
Referring to Davido’s crew as “foolish” and “broke,” Wizkid didn’t hold back, implying that any attempt to start trouble would have ended badly for them.
“Broke pussyboys! Una papa for try anything na! Foolish broke boys. We go use una wipe ground! Pussyboys fan boys 4L!” he tweeted, making it clear where he stood.
The verbal onslaught continued as Wizkid mocked the excitement Davido’s team supposedly had at his presence.
After a fan pointed out that most of the circulating videos came from Davido’s camp, Wizkid responded with sarcasm, suggesting they were awestruck by seeing him: “Oloshi una papa never see superstar before. When u see superstar u go record na! When na Toto beggar dem Dey Dey follow everyday.”
His tweets painted a picture of disdain for Davido’s crew, and his followers quickly joined in, amplifying the digital spat.
This latest exchange adds to the growing list of public clashes between Wizkid and Davido, whose relationship has been marked by rivalry for almost a decade.
Both are considered giants of Afrobeats, having risen to fame around the same time in the early 2010s.

Their contrasting styles—Wizkid’s smooth, laid-back persona versus Davido’s bold, flashy approach—only fueled comparisons and competition. Though they’ve shared moments of peace in the past, like their surprise joint performance in 2017, those moments have been fleeting.
