Bridget Otoo has strongly criticized Mohammed Kudus for insulting Ghanaian fans who voiced their disappointment with his poor performance in the Black Stars match against the Central African Republic at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Despite narrowly defeating their resilient opponents 4-3 and securing second place in Group I of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers with 9 points, the same as league leaders Comoros, fans were unimpressed with Kudus’ excessive ball-holding and unsuccessful attempts to showcase his skills.
Consequently, some fans expressed their criticism on social media, to which Kudus responded by insulting them in return.
In response to this, outspoken broadcaster and journalist Bridget Otoo condemned Kudus for retaliating and insulting the fans.
According to Bridget Otoo, who appears to believe that Kudus and his club lack the high quality associated with the national team, he only plays for the Black Stars due to the team’s diminished standards.
She tweeted in Twi saying; Black Stars na ayɛfo nti, nka West Ham player bɛdidi fans atem, to wit Black Stars has become very cheap making it possible for a West Ham player to insult fans’

In another article, she proposed that ex-Black Stars such as Stephen Appiah, Sulley Muntari, Sammy Kuffour, and other players who represented top European clubs were not immune to criticism and never disrespected fans who voiced their opinions.
She wrote; “2024 West Ham player dey insult fans who criticized him…. Where’s the God of ESSIEN AT CHELSEA AND MADRID GOD OF MILAN’s MUNTARI God of Sammy Kufour’s Bayern God of Juventus’s Stephen Appiah! Even Kevin Boateng won’t do that! Black stars Na ay3do nti a!”.
