TV personality Bridget Otoo has criticized Lilwin on social media for the press release issued by his management, which aimed to clarify his position following the tragic accident that resulted in the death of a 3-year-old boy.
According to Bridget, the press release was insensitive and only served to worsen the pain felt by Nana Yaw, the young boy who lost his life in the accident.
Bridget, who is a news anchor for Metro TV, went on to label Lilwin as a clown. Speaking further, she said the statement released by Lilwin is unintelligent, noting that he lacks sense similar to the character he portrays on screen.
She urged the police to take action and arrest him without delay, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation where a young life has been tragically lost, leaving a family in deep sorrow.
Recall that the family of the deceased child demanded Lilwin’s arrest, accusing him of neglecting the boy after the accident and subsequent death.
However, in a press statement released by his management, Lilwin clarified that his crew members were also injured and required immediate attention to ensure their safety. Despite this, Lilwin expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the young child.
According to the presser issued, the management of Lilwin said the although the actor and his team were saddened and traumatised, they found unwarranted allegations of neglect on their part as speculated by some commentators’ very distasteful and disturbing at this troubling time.
They then went on to state categorically that they were unclear about the extent of damage from the accident because Lilwin, his manager and bouncer suffered life-threatening injuries.
However, Bridget thinks otherwise and unleashed her venom on Lilwin as depicted in the following statement shared on X;
This is a very foolish statement from a halfwit who is as idiotic as the character they display on screen. This clown even went to the premiere of his movie. @GhPoliceService do your job and arrest this clown who thinks he’s acting when a life of a boy has been cut short and a family is grieving a loss they would never recover from!
