Brain Jotter showcased his generous nature by raising an impressive 20 million naira to assist a physically challenged woman who displayed loyalty by being the earliest attendee at his concert.
At his comedy event on May 25, the woman arrived first, even before the sound setup by his team was completed at the venue.
In a video shared on his Instagram account, the comedian recounted the encounter with her at the show and expressed his determination to make a positive impact on her life.
Brain Jotter said; “The show I planned in Abuja wasn’t my show, it was a woman’s show. I don’t know that God had other plans,” Brainjotter spoke in pidgin English in a video released on Thursday.
“So when the show was going on, I was in my hotel room upstairs at Transcorp Hilton, so I came downstairs to check what was going on. I saw this lady sitting down. I wasn’t aware that she didn’t have hands or legs, what she wore were plastic hands and legs.”
As the event commenced, Brain Jotter, Broda Shaggi, and several other entertainers began selecting individuals randomly from the audience. During this time, Brain Jotter inquired about the lady he had encountered earlier who was using crutches.
“So as Shaggi (Broda shaggi) was about to pick someone else, my mind went straight to that lady (Onwunachie). I remembered her…. The initial plan was to raise 1 million for the lady,” he recounted.
However, at the end of the night, they were able to fundraise not less than 20 million naira for the woman, including a sponsor, who pledged to process her Visa to Canada
“So I want to say thank you to my benefactor, Brainjotter, and I want to thank Transcorp Hilton for accommodating me for the night. I want to say thank you. I am so grateful. God will bless everyone that contributed for me, God will bless you and God will bless brainjotter abundantly,” Onwunachie said.
The standup comedian, content creator and entertainer further encouraged his fans not to give up on their goals and ambitions in life.
Brain Jotter said; “Don’t give up on your dreams, you don’t know when God wants to bless you, it always looks like a dream. Someone (Onwunachie) who came to show paying N19,000, went home with over N20 million naira. I’ve always said that the reward for gratitude is brighter. So on behalf of myself and my team, I want to say thank you to Abuja.”
