Barack Obama hitmaker, Blakk Rasta has voiced his worries about the growing number of women choosing BBL procedures instead of pursuing higher education.
On his Urban Blend show on 3FM, Blakk Rasta commented that modern women seem to prioritize their appearance over intellectual development for a better future.
He elaborated by stating that women are more interested in cosmetic surgery to enhance their physical features to attract men and gain financial benefits, rather than focusing on furthering their education to attain a PhD.
“It is sad what is happening in these times. Ladies do not need education anymore. A lot of ladies prefer a surgeon’s injection to boost their buttocks and breasts rather than pursuing a PhD. In my day, ladies struggled academically with men to achieve laurels.
“The other day, I was watching something on Facebook, and the lady said, ‘I am looking for a guy to give me a doggy style so that he would buy a car for me.’ One doggy style for a car? Are you a porn star?” he questioned, adding more dynamics to entertainment news on th internet today.
The Brazilian butt lift, also known as BBL, is a cosmetic procedure that involves transferring excess fat from one area of the body to the buttocks. Typically, the fat is taken from areas like the hips, thighs, or lower abdomen to enhance the overall appearance of the lower body.
Despite its name, the Brazilian butt lift surgery is not culturally linked to Brazil; instead, it is named after the Brazilian surgeon who pioneered the technique. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons also recognizes this procedure as buttock augmentation using fat grafting.
The Brazilian butt lift surgery is typically done on an outpatient basis with general anaesthesia. During the procedure, fat is removed from the lower body using liposuction, purified, and then injected into specific areas of the buttocks to achieve the desired shape and size.
Pain is usually minimal, and prescription pain medication is rarely necessary. After the surgery, you can resume light daily activities and work within 10 to 14 days. However, you will need to avoid sitting, lying down, or putting direct pressure on your buttocks for approximately two weeks.
Sleeping on your stomach and using a supportive pillow under your thighs during daily activities is recommended. Your surgeon will allow you to sit in a modified position with a special cushion after a couple of weeks to prevent pressure on your buttocks.
Typically, you can return to sitting without restrictions around eight weeks post-surgery.
Full recovery usually takes about six months, during which time all swelling will have subsided, and you will see the final results of the procedure. The results are long-lasting, but maintaining a stable weight is crucial to preserving the outcome.
