During a recent interview on GHOne TV, Ghanaian actress Mahalia Bamford shared her thoughts on Black Sherif’s distinct image and the reactions it has garnered.
“It’s now that new things are coming and we get so uncomfortable when something new pops up but with time, we embrace it,” she noted.

Bamford emphasized the inevitability of change and how, over time, people come to accept new trends and styles.
Discussing Black Sherif’s unique look, Bamford stated, “Blacko has marked himself with the way he looks. What he said was entirely perfect, it’s true.
“If you see Blacko and they’ve wrapped all his face and his belly and even his legs, you will know that it’s Blacko.”
Her comments underline the rapper’s ability to create a memorable and recognizable brand, even when adopting unconventional styles.
Bamford acknowledged that Black Sherif’s image might not align with traditional Ghanaian aesthetics, saying, “It may not be our usual style we are used to or something we would want to embrace, but he has branded himself.”
