Black Sherif has expressed his heartfelt sentiments on X, offering prayers for Nigerian cinematographer TG Omori amid recent news of his struggle with kidney disease.
In his post, Black Sherif praised Omori for his work on the music video for “45,” describing it as the finest video to emerge from Ghana.
Accompanying his message, he shared a photograph of the two in Nigeria during the filming of the music video, wishing for Omori’s swift recovery.
“It breaks my heart to see TG Omori undergo a kidney transplant. This is the same man who directed ’45,’ which is the best music video to ever come out of Ghana. I pray he recovers quickly and everything goes smoothly for him.🙏”
Meanwhile, TG Omori has provided an update regarding his health. This comes shortly after he disclosed his struggle with kidney disease and the fact that he had received a kidney donation from his brother.
Regrettably, in his latest update, he revealed that the transplant was unsuccessful despite his brother’s assistance, and he is currently in a critical condition, appealing for prayers from his supporters.
In a social media post on Wednesday, Omori disclosed that the kidney transplant he underwent at St. Nicholas Hospital in Lagos on Tuesday was unsuccessful, expressing his desire to live.
