Bishop Salifu Amoako, founder and leader of Alive Chapel International, has reportedly been involved in an accident near Tesano’s Papaye area.
The incident is said to have involved five other vehicles, all of which sustained significant damage.
Thankfully, no injuries have been reported, and investigations into the cause of the crash are ongoing
While the latest accident has fortunately not claimed any lives, the damage to vehicles underscores the need for vigilance on Ghana’s roads.
More updates on the Tesano collision are expected as authorities piece together what transpired.
A few days ago, the 16-year-old son of Bishop Amoako, Elrad Amoako, was given a six-month sentence at a senior correctional centre following a deadly accident at East Legon that killed two girls.
The boy’s guilty plea to eight charges, including two counts of manslaughter, marked a turning point in the case.
The charges stemmed from a horrific road crash that claimed the lives of two young ladies and caused an uproar within the Ghanaian social media landscape.
According to police prosecutors, the teenager was driving a Jaguar F-Pace Sport—a luxury vehicle belonging to his parents—when the tragedy struck.
He reportedly showed off the car’s speed, leading a convoy of three vehicles. Witness accounts revealed that the journey began at A&C Mall, where he and a friend joined others in SUVs.
The Jaguar, driven by the accused, led the convoy through the streets of East Legon. In a split second, the joyride turned fatal when the car collided with a black Acura carrying the two young victims.
