Following a recent update regarding the health status of Yaw Sarpong, it has been confirmed that the veteran gospel singer is currently in good health and no longer at risk.
This update was shared by Bishop John Yaw Adu, the leader and founder of New Jerusalem Chapel, where the singer is currently under his care in his prayer camp.
In an interview with ace broadcaster and on-air personality Fiifi Praat, Bishop Adu conveyed his profound appreciation to the people of Ghana for their unwavering support towards the gospel singer.
He further disclosed that Sarpong’s health condition has seen a notable improvement.
“I want to express a big thank you to all Ghanaians, both in Ghana and abroad, for your prayers for Yaw Sarpong and the entire ministry. I can confidently say that Yaw Sarpong is doing excellently well now,” Bishop Adu said.
The health condition of Yaw Sarpong was prominently highlighted when his wife made a formal complaint at the renowned Auntie Naa show, alleging a series of misconduct against him.
Auntie Naa is a radio host who serves as a counsellor and judge on her popular show on Oyerepa FM, where she addresses various relationship and marriage issues.
The show has gained immense popularity, with individuals fearing having their problems discussed on air by a disgruntled party.
Surprisingly, Yaw Sarpong who has been unwell for some time, had his issue brought to the same platform by his long-time wife.
The wife accused her husband of infidelity over the years. She also revealed that she has been denied access to her husband since he fell ill and was taken to an undisclosed prayer camp.
Narrating her grievances on line radio which was also transmitted live on Oyerepa TV, she said despite offering to accompany her husband to the prayer camp, she was persuaded to stay home.
