Lilwin has silenced his detractors who ridicule him for his limited English skills.
In an interview with Andy Dosty, while on a media tour to promote his latest film A Country Ghana, Lilwin emphasized that English proficiency is not essential for success.
He highlighted that his native language and talent have been instrumental in his achievements, proving that language skills are not the only key to success.
Away from that, Lilwin, whose real name Kwadwo Nkansah announced on the same platform that he has decided to temporarily suspend his political ambitions for this year.
Previously, he had expressed his intention to run as an independent candidate for the position of Member of Parliament, aiming to represent the constituents of the Afigya Kwabre North constituency in the Ashanti region.
However, due to financial constraints, he has made the difficult decision to postpone his campaign, as he lacks the necessary funds to conduct a robust and effective election campaign.
Furthermore, he reiterated his stance of not aligning himself with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) or the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He emphasized that he maintains friendships within both parties and prefers to refrain from participating in their rivalry and becoming entangled in the midst of it.
