Beyoncé’s entertainment company, Parkwood Entertainment, and singer Chloe Bailey are facing a major legal battle after being accused of copyright infringement.
The lawsuit, filed by artist Melvin Moore, alleges that elements of his original work were used without his permission, leading him to seek $15 million in damages.
Moore, who has worked with industry giants like Kanye West, claims that Bailey incorporated parts of his creations into her music unlawfully.
He argues that Parkwood Entertainment, the powerhouse behind Chloe Bailey’s career, is also responsible for the alleged infringement.
This lawsuit comes at a time of increased legal scrutiny surrounding Beyoncé’s business empire, following Jay-Z’s recent courtroom victory.

While the Carters are no strangers to legal battles, this case puts a spotlight on Parkwood Entertainment’s handling of intellectual property.
So far, neither Chloe Bailey nor Parkwood Entertainment has publicly responded to the lawsuit.
However, given the gravity of the accusations, the music industry will be watching closely to see how this legal fight unfolds.
