Actress Beverly Afaglo has expressed her desire for more acting opportunities by urging movie producers and directors to offer her roles.
Through an Instagram post, the wife of musician Praye Honeho shared her frustration over the lack of activity in her acting career, questioning whether producers find it too costly to cast her.
Afaglo also shed light on the challenges faced by veteran actors who are often overlooked in favour of newer talents, emphasizing the negative impact such practices have on the industry’s development.
In addition, Beverly revealed that she has only appeared in two movies this year and appealed to filmmakers to consider her for future casting decisions.
“I think I am getting bored. I have done only two productions this whole year: ‘Yaa Basabasa’ on YouTube and one movie produced by Steve Ekeso. Where are the producers and directors? Forgotten about me? I’m a versatile actor ooo. I can do it all. Or you say you want new faces? Or you can’t pay me? Try me,” she wrote.
