Ghana’s outgoing Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia joined congregants at Dag Heward-Mills’ Lighthouse Chapel for the annual Crossover Night service, delivering an inspiring message of faith and gratitude.

The event, held on Tuesday night, marked a spiritual transition into the New Year, with worshippers gathering in large numbers to reflect on the past year and seek divine direction for 2025.

In his address, Dr. Bawumia expressed profound faith in God’s plans for his future. “I know and believe that God has a plan for me for greater and better things in the future,” he affirmed, his words resonating with an audience eager for hope and inspiration.

Drawing from the Bible, he cited 1 Thessalonians 5:18, which underscores the importance of gratitude in all circumstances.

“For what He has done for us, we are giving thanks to Him,” he continued, reflecting on the collective blessings received over the past year.

“God bless you all, God bless Lighthouse, and God bless Ghana,” he concluded, his message drawing applause from the congregation.

The Vice President’s presence and remarks not only highlighted his personal faith but also served as a call to unity and thanksgiving among Ghanaians.

For many attendees, his message was a timely reminder to remain hopeful and grateful as they face the opportunities and challenges of the New Year.
