Basketmouth is amazed by the exorbitant fees charged by Burna Boy and has made a bold statement about his own career.
He expressed his astonishment at the fact that Burna Boy charges a staggering 3 to 4 million dollars for a single music performance.
In light of this, Basketmouth declared that if he were ever offered such a sum, he would immediately retire from the comedy scene and decline any further show invitations.
He said this in a recent episode of the Honest Bunch podcast.
Basketmouth said; “Burna Boy is paid 3 to 4 million dollars for a single performance. If they pay me that for a show, that will certainly be my last show”.
The Nigerian comedian expressed his views shortly after Burna Boy disclosed that he had declined a $5 million proposal to perform in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Burna cited his refusal was due to the restriction on smoking his preferred substance (weed) in the United Arab Emirates.
This information was shared by the self-proclaimed African Giant in a widely circulated video on social media while rehearsing freestyle with his band, Outsiders.
It is important to note that smoking is prohibited in parks, beaches, and all public recreational areas in Dubai according to Emirati law.
