The strained relationship between two of Ghana’s most prominent pastors, Prophet Emmanuel Badu Kobi and Rev. Owusu-Bempah, has once again taken centre stage.
Actor Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr Beautiful, has made fresh revelations about the fallout, shedding light on the extent of their once-close relationship and its bitter end.
Speaking on Power FM, Mr Beautiful revealed the depth of generosity Prophet Badu Kobi extended to Rev. Owusu-Bempah before their relationship soured.
According to him, Badu Kobi’s kindness went as far as gifting Owusu-Bempah brand-new cars every six months.
“If you’re not close to Badu Kobi and hear these lies, you might believe them,” Mr Beautiful began, his voice laced with a mix of frustration and disbelief.
“Prophet Badu Kobi used to buy brand new cars for Owusu-Bempah every six months. But now, as far as Badu Kobi is concerned, Rev. Owusu-Bempah is the most wicked man on earth.”
This revelation has sparked intense conversations about the nature of friendships and rivalries within Ghana’s religious circles.
To many, the generosity described by Mr Beautiful underscores how deep the bond between the two pastors once was.
Badu Kobi, known for his philanthropic gestures, had earned a reputation for extending support to fellow men of God.
Seeing such a relationship crumble into animosity, however, has left many followers stunned.
