Skrewfaze has opened up about the inspiration behind his new song Blood Pressure (BP) in a recent interview with Property FM, veteran hiplife star
Initially, a light-hearted conversation with his wife about fidelity and trust sparked a deeper reflection on relationships, ultimately leading to the track’s creation.
Skrewfaze shared how he and his wife were watching a movie about infidelity, where the men seemed to justify their cheating.
This prompted him to ask his wife, in a playful tone, “Babe, if I cheat on you, will you also cheat on me?”
Her quick response, “I’ll die you,” sparked both humour and contemplation, to which Skrewfaze jokingly replied, “Don’t do that because I have BP.”
That moment of banter was the seed for what would become his latest creative expression.
Despite the humorous origin, Skrewfaze is clear about one thing—he doesn’t condone cheating.
He firmly believes that if you truly love someone, cheating should never be on the table.
“First of all, one thing I want to clarify is I’m not in support of cheating because if you’re with somebody and you love the person, cheating should be out of the question,” he emphasized during the interview.

Skrewfaze explained that the song’s concept is not meant to glorify infidelity or make light of it, but rather to explore the emotional strain it can bring—hence the metaphor of “blood pressure.”
