Auntie Bee addresses mystery behind Santo’s death

The mystery surrounding Santo’s death, which has persisted for years, has come back into focus following an interview with her partner, Auntie Bee, on Kingdom FM just hours ago.

While it was publicly acknowledged that the late comedian and actor passed away after a brief illness, suggesting a natural cause, some have speculated that he was carrying cocaine that ruptured in his stomach.

Addressing the issue, Auntie Bee revealed that Highlife musician Kaakyire Kwame Appiah had taken Santo and several other actors abroad for a performance.

However, Auntie Bee noted that Santo was unwell at the time the invitation was extended, yet he felt compelled to join the group for the performance.

She further mentioned that upon his return to Ghana, Santo spent a month and two weeks in the hospital before his passing.

The Efiewura actor then said the cocaine saga is untrue. “He wasn’t well even before the trip. But he couldn’t opt out because it was a group performance.

“He was even hospitalized abroad until he returned to Ghana and was hospitalized again for a month and two weeks.

“I was with him throughout when he was in the hospital. So where did the cocaine story come from?” she shared.
