Nigerian influencer and entrepreneur Ashmusy has recently fulfilled a deeply personal and emotional promise by purchasing a house for her mother in Lekki, Lagos.
This act of love and gratitude has captured the hearts of many on social media, as Ashmusy shared the touching moment with her followers in an emotional Instagram post.
In her post, Ashmusy reflected on the struggles her mother endured to ensure a stable home for her children, recalling how her mother used to go around begging for rent.
She also reminisced about the selfless sacrifices her mother made—often sleeping on the uncomfortable side of the bed to make sure her children were comfortable.
Ashmusy’s words were filled with emotion as she described the immense gratitude she feels for being able to give back in such a meaningful way.
“My mom has gone from begging around for rent to owning a home in Lekki, Lagos,” she wrote in her heartfelt post. “Thank you, Jesus, for giving me the ability to fulfill this promise.
“Remembering how this woman would sleep at the edge, the wood side of our tiny bed so we could sleep well makes me tear up every time. I’m just going to say thank you, Jesus.”
The influencer, known for her vibrant presence on social media, shared a video of her mother walking through the house, visibly overjoyed and excited.
The home, which is fully furnished and spacious, is a far cry from the struggles they once knew.
As they toured the rooms together, the happiness and pride in both mother and daughter were palpable, with the video capturing a moment that symbolized not only success but also the deep bond they shared.
