Asamoah Gyan has established a strong connection with the troubled comedian Funny Face, further solidifying their bond through a significant gesture.

During a sports program on Peace FM hosted by Dan Kweku Yeboah, Gyan took the opportunity to extend a heartfelt apology to the management of Despite Media Group, particularly to Fadda Dickson.

He used notable Ghanaian proverbs to advocate for forgiveness, urging that Funny Face deserves a second chance from Fadda Dickson and Osei Kwame Despite.

The former Sunderland striker emphasized that the comedian’s recent inappropriate remarks stemmed from a mental health crisis, suggesting that they were not entirely spontaneous.

Funny Face, known for his popular series ‘Chokor Trotro,’ disclosed a few months ago that his attempt to beg Fadda Dickson for forgiveness for all the insults he launched against him did not go as planned.

He mentioned that he had already apologized to two of his three benefactors, namely Bola Ray and Adebayor, whom he had insulted during a difficult period of his bipolar disorder.

Funny Face shared that Fadda Dickson terminated their reconciliation process, but he understands and accepts his reaction, as he is deeply hurt and needs time to heal.

It is worth recalling that in 2021, a few months after being admitted to a psychiatric hospital for treatment, Funny Face released videos in which he launched scathing attacks on various individuals.

One of these videos involved him insulting Fadda Dickson, the General Manager of the Despite Group of Companies, as well as his friend Adebayor and media personality Bola Ray.

In the video, he criticized the three for allegedly abandoning him and supporting his ex-partner Vanessa amidst their relationship troubles.
