Stonebwoy has appreciated the significant impact Ghanaian producer Appietus has had on the music industry.
The Dancehall/Reggae specialist mentioned that despite their successes, it is surprising they have not collaborated professionally yet.
Stonebwoy further stated his intention to collaborate with Appietus in the future, emphasizing that it would result in something truly magical.
These remarks were made during the Industry Mixer event on July 13 at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel, organized by Charterhouse.
Additionally, Stonebwoy also acknowledged the contributions of Fredima and Mix Master Garzy in elevating Ghanaian music to new heights.
“I am yet to work with Appietus in my career, so I have fifty more years to go. Nothing happens. If I am here to work with Appietus, you can just imagine,” Stonebwoy said.
The event, hosted by Charterhouse Ghana, brought together key figures in Ghana’s creative economy, including record producers, copyright representatives, musicians, and creative entrepreneurs.
Stonebwoy was also presented with the seven awards he earned at the 25th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards.
During the presentation, he expressed his gratitude to Charterhouse for their continuous support in the growth of Ghanaian music.
He emphasized that TGMA is a significant platform for Ghanaians, comparable to other prestigious international awards ceremonies.
“This is the only one we have. For me, if I have to work harder 100 times and win what is deserved 100 times, I think it’s in the right way for Ghana music,” he added, a development that has added a new conversation around entertainment news in Ghana.
