During a chance meeting in the UK, Appiah Stadium, a famed political activist, shared a personal message with Sarkodie.
“I have a message for you,” he said, acknowledging the rapper’s success. “God’s favour on your life puts you above NPP and NDC.”
Appiah Stadium expressed his desire for Sarkodie to perform for them and former president John Mahama but was quick to emphasize that the artist shouldn’t feel pressured.
“I’d have loved for you to sing a song for us and my father Mahama,” he said, before adding, “But don’t hesitate to ignore our request. So no one would think of rubbishing your reputation.”
This exchange highlighted Appiah Stadium’s respect for Sarkodie’s neutrality in political matters and his understanding of the rapper’s desire to protect his public image.
