Blakk Rasta has once again launched a scathing attack on Ghana’s Finance Minister, Dr. Mohammed Amin Adam, accusing him of being a puppet manipulated by political forces.
The outspoken media personality questioned whether Amin Adam would ever recover from the political damage of his appointment, suggesting that he accepted the role without fully considering the mess he was inheriting.
“The same thing they have done to Amin Adam. These guys don’t portray common sense. He jumped into it, thinking, ‘Oh wow, I’m probably the first guy from the north to become a Finance Minister, let me take it up.’
“He didn’t look at the mess. That is why he can speak so ignorantly,” he said on 3FM, monitored by Ghanastreeetjournal.
Blakk Rasta argued that the Finance Minister lacks independent judgment, comparing him to Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia.
“You can easily tell that he was not his own man. He was being puppeted, the same way they took Bawumia through the journey of lies. It hurts me that my own people allow themselves to be puppeted like this.”
He also took aim at Patrick Boamah, a Member of Parliament, for attempting to defend Amin Adam.
“Now Patrick Boamah has come out like an angel to say, ‘Oh, forgive my ignorant Finance Minister. In fact, he was not his own man. He was actually being puppeted by the same demon of the economy that we kicked out, Ken Ofori-Atta.’
“This is a man who holds a PhD, a man who is supposed to be sharp and astute, but he has embarrassed himself.
Amin Adam, shame on you. You have disgraced yourself, disgraced your party, and shown everyone that you are nothing but a puppet. Deal with it.”
