Ifeoma, the sister of popular Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo has weighed in on her brother’s marital brouhaha while defending him wholeheartedly.

In an online chat with Obodo Oyibo, Ifeoma explained the situation around the issue occurring between the estranged couple.

Ifeoma refuted allegations that her brother Alexx Ekubo is gay and chastised Fancy for stoking them with her “live in your truth” remark and assertion that they were never intimate during their five-year relationship.

Ifeoma maintained that Fancy was making false accusations about her brother and that he is not gay. Ifeoma claims that the accusations of being “gay” are false because the two engaged in sex in January.

Similarly, following the current scandal started by Fancy Acholonu, Nigerian politician Opeyemi Falegan, has decided to support actor Alexx Ekubo.

This occurs in the midst of ongoing controversy around Fancy, Alex’s ex-fiancee who opened up about their relationship with blogger Stella Dimoko recently. The lawmaker defended the actor, claiming that it is absurd and beyond reproach to call him names without first hearing his side of the story.

According to Falegan, not having intercourse for years shows Alex’s high moral standards which require a reasonable level of virtue and modesty. Fancy had claimed that the actor did not get intimate with her despite dating for 5 years. Falegan stated;
