John Kwadwo Alan Kyerematen, the founder of the Movement for Change, is currently in the spotlight following his announcement of a running mate on September 12.
The former stalwart of the NPP, now an independent presidential candidate for the upcoming elections, has selected Elijah Kwame Owusu Danso as his running mate.
Danso, a former Hiplife artist known as E-Nice, has transitioned into a legal career.
He previously formed a music duo with Charles Yeboah Danso, creating the now-defunct group Echo, which gained popularity with their 2008 hit ‘Gologolo,’ featuring rapper Tinny.
The significance of Mr. Danso being the first musician to take on the role of running mate has certainly drawn considerable attention.
Meanwhile, the Movement for Change and the Alliance for Revolutionary Change has conveyed its gratitude to the movement’s leader, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, for selecting Kwame Owusu Danso Esq. as his Vice Presidential Candidate for the upcoming general elections on December 7.
Mr. Kyerematen assured the movement that he would nominate a capable young individual as his running mate, and he has fulfilled that promise.
In a statement issued by Duke Aaron Sasu, the National Youth Commander and Spokesperson, it was noted that the youth have persistently sought active involvement and genuine representation within Ghana’s political landscape. For the first time in the history of the Fourth Republic, their request has been acknowledged.
