Ghanaian actor and content creator Akwasi Kardashian has passed away after a long struggle with kidney failure, leaving fans heartbroken.

Known for his openness, Akwasi had bravely shared his health journey and plea for help when he learned of his condition earlier this year.

Months before his death, Akwasi spoke to blogger Sammy Kay, recounting the symptoms that led to his diagnosis.

What started as intense coughing, vomiting, and unexpected leg swelling quickly escalated, prompting urgent medical attention.

Tests revealed kidney failure, and doctors advised he would need around GHC700,000 for dialysis and a kidney transplant to survive.

Through Sammy Kay’s platform, Akwasi appealed to the public for financial assistance, disclosing that his illness was further complicated by a history of untreated high blood pressure.
