Kwesi Kyei Darkwa (KKD), a prominent figure in the media and entertainment industry, has strongly criticized the Akufo-Addo-led government.
He claims that based on various statistics, this current administration is the most corrupt in Ghana’s political history.
KKD challenges sceptics to consult Civil Society Organizations and other agencies for evidence, suggesting that the government is primarily focused on corruption and exploitation.
Speaking to Joy News, KKD said, “For all the metrics, Nana Akufo-Addo’s seven years and counting, is the worst thievery and plunder ever in the history of my motherland, Ghana. If you’re not sure call the CSOs. You’re very good at graphs so let them do the graphs and do the statistics.
“So even the Banking cleanup exercise, which has crippled Kofi Amoabeng crippled Duffour, crippled all the others the money you claim you used for cleaning up the banks is multiples of the money you could have used to say we are saving the banks and we are taking 50% shares in these banks and giving 50% shares to the state.
“So what I can say is that you people are thieves. You are jealous people and hate to see others progress. We will all die so why are you people this greedy. You want others to suffer so that you save your children and other generations in your family only,” he said.
KKD began his career as a broadcast journalist with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation.
His professional journey includes roles such as Director of Public Communications at the Ghana Investment Promotion Council, Director of Programmes and Marketing at Sunshine Radio, and General Manager at Megastar Limited, a record company.
Additionally, he served as an Account Manager for Corporate Healthcare at Gissings Consultancy Services in London and held the position of Advertising and Promotions Manager at ABC Brewery Ltd.
