Stonebwoy and his wife were present at the epic Group B clash between Ghana and Egypt in the ongoing AFCON 2023 tournament being held in Ivory Coast. Immediately after the match, Stonebwoy expressed his thoughts on the game.
As an ardent fan of the Black Stars and football in general, the president of Bhim Nation confidently stated that Ghana would secure a spot in the next phase of the competition by convincingly defeating Mozambique.
The reggae/dancehall artiste emphasized that Ghana had displayed superiority in their match against Egypt and was determined to qualify convincingly for the next round.
Stonebwoy encouraged the nation to adopt a resilient mindset, assuring that despite the disappointment of the game against Egypt, Ghana would successfully progress to the knockout stage.
During Thursday’s match, Mohammed Kudus’ goal in the 45th minute initially gave Ghana an advantage, but a defensive error allowed Egypt to equalize. Despite Kudus reclaiming the lead, another defensive mistake, this time by substitute Osman Bukari, resulted in Egypt equalizing once again.
