Shallipopi has urged Nigerian artists, particularly those who are emerging, to adopt Wizkid as their role model.
The musician emphasized that in order to remain significant in the industry, his fellow colleagues should emulate Wizkid’s exemplary conduct on social media.
He emphasized the importance of working diligently without seeking unnecessary attention, allowing their artistic creations to speak for themselves. Shallipopi believes that this approach is the key to maintaining long-term success, just as Wizkid has demonstrated.
He said: “To stay relevant, you stay silent. When you talk too much, you lose value. Let your music and your success speak for you like Wizkid.”
Meanwhile, on October 7, 2023, Crayon took to his official Twitter account to express his support and concern for Wizkid during his period of absence from social media and music releases.
It has been two months since Wizkid tragically lost his mother, and as a result, he has refrained from posting on any of his social media platforms or sharing new music.
Crayon acknowledged Wizkid’s decision to take a break from releasing new songs but emphasized his desire to see updates from the renowned artist on his social media accounts.
In addition, Crayon offered his heartfelt prayers for Wizkid during this difficult time of mourning, while also providing words of encouragement for him to remain resilient and strong.
He tweeted; “Omo I dey miss Big Wiz mehn… I swear baba abeg even if you no go drop song just help us dey post make I just dey see you prayers up for you! stay strong”.
