90 Percent Of Women Depend On Their Husbands For Everything- Akrobeto

According to Real News host and veteran actor Akrobeto, about 90 per cent of women enter into marriage and rely on their husbands for all their needs.

He cited this statistic to illustrate why many women experience physical and verbal abuse from their husbands.

Akrobeto contended that women who are employed and contribute to their households are less likely to face mistreatment from their husbands due to their level of independence.

“Out of 100, I can say 90 per cent of women get married and depend on their husbands for everything.

“A man will marry a woman and support his wife, children, and sometimes his wife’s family, which is not helpful.

“You should also do your best. The days of married women being housewives are gone, in this modern era, there is no such thing as a housewife.

“You too, go out and work hard and contribute so we can all enjoy,”Akrobeto said during the last episode of his famous Real News.

Akrobeto’s comments come after Nigerian actress and producer Funke Akindele advised women not to rely on men for success.

Akindele emphasized the importance of women striving for financial independence and not relying on men for success.

He pointed out the potential for women to achieve their own financial stability.

“Who says women can’t make money?” she asked, referencing successful female entrepreneurs like Folorunsho Alakija. “You don’t have to rely on a man to make it.”

She also advised young women to stay content and focused on their goals, rather than envying others and living beyond their means.

“Whatever you have, just start something. Move. Don’t wait for the big opportunity. Even if it’s petty business, just start something,” Akindele said.

Reflecting on her own journey, Akindele shared, “I used to buy my handbags from ‘bend down select.’ I would wash and iron them and slay with them. Even with the cheap bags, I still felt good. Just believe in yourself.”
