6 PM to 6 AM Curfew Imposed on Binduri to Curb Unrest

The Ministry of Interior has imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew on Binduri Township and its surrounding areas in the Upper East Region, effective Monday, March 24, 2025. The curfew will run from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM daily.

A statement from the ministry urged community leaders and residents to remain calm and seek peaceful solutions to their challenges.

Additionally, a ban has been placed on carrying weapons, wearing smocks, and riding motorbikes in the area, with authorities warning that violators will be arrested and prosecuted.
