Rapper 50 Cent has publicly disputed Complex’s ranking of the most successful hip-hop tours based on ticket sales, taking issue with the exclusion of Nicki Minaj from the top three spots.
According to Complex, Drake’s It’s All a Blur tour topped the charts, generating an impressive $320 million, followed by Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus tour at $154 million, and Kendrick Lamar’s Big Steppers tour grossing $110 million.
However, 50 Cent expressed disagreement, arguing that Minaj deserves recognition for her recent achievements.

“I don’t know where they got these numbers from, but they are wrong,” 50 Cent wrote on Instagram. He asserted that Minaj should have been placed third, highlighting her dedication as both a mother and an artist. “@nickiminaj would be in the 3rd slot.
She worked hard as a mother, man, don’t do that,” he added, referencing her two-leg tour performances in recent years.
Minaj, not one to stay silent, echoed 50 Cent’s sentiments, challenging the data that Complex used for their rankings. She took to X (formerly known as Twitter), demanding proof, writing: “Show me the data.”
Her brief but bold statement suggests a lack of transparency in the figures presented by the media outlet, emphasizing that her contributions to Hip Hop are being overlooked.
Nicki Minaj has long been recognized as one of the most influential women in Hip Hop, maintaining a strong presence in the industry for over a decade.
With her successful tours and albums, many fans and industry insiders would agree with 50 Cent’s stance.
The Pinkprint and Queen tours, for instance, have drawn huge crowds worldwide, showcasing Minaj’s influence and star power.
