King Paluta was adjudged winner of the New Artiste of the Year during the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards held at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre.
Paluta beat off stiff competition from Bandy Banner, DSL, Maya Blu, Olivetheboy, and Oseikrom Sikanii to clinch the prestigious award.
Obuor, who had won the New Artiste of the Year title almost two decades ago, graced the stage to present the award to King Paluta.
Obuor emphasized that this particular award solidifies the newfound fame of the new artiste and encouragesd them to strive for consistency to establish themselves as prominent figures in the music industry.
In his acceptance speech, King Paluta expressed gratitude for the recognition, attributing his success to hard work and divine intervention.
He urged aspiring artists to remain resilient and pursue their dreams relentlessly, emphasizing that achieving greatness is indeed possible.
