South African icon Yvonne Chaka Chaka has been invited to headline this year’s African Legend Night together with other Ghanaian legends.
Other notable participants include Adane Best, George Jahraa, and Okyeame Kwame, who will also headline this prestigious annual event organized by Global Media Alliance.
The event is scheduled for October 5th at the Grand Arena Dome, located within the Accra International Conference Centre.
Speaking about the upcoming event, Ernest Boateng, CEO of Global Media Alliance, expressed his excitement about this year’s lineup: “The African Legends Night has always been about celebrating the best of African music, and this year’s lineup reflects the diversity and richness of our continent’s musical heritage.
“We are honoured to have Yvonne Chaka Chaka, George Jahraa, Adane Best, and Okyeame Kwame headline this year’s event.
“Their music has touched the lives of millions of people across Africa and beyond, and we can’t wait to see them perform live.”
Since its establishment, African Legends Night has emerged as a hallmark of outstanding music and entertainment, consistently showcasing exceptional performances that honour the richness of African music.
The event has hosted numerous renowned artists from the continent, such as Hugh Masekela, Femi Kuti, Freddie Meiway, Kanda Bongoman, Amakye Dede, and Daddy Lumba, to name a few.
