In an exclusive interview on Peace FM 102.3 FM and monitored by Tru News Report, Robert Klah revealed that Charterhouse had been contemplating whether to announce the winners of the 2019 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) even before Stonebwoy mentioned it.
During the interview, Robert responded to a question from Entertainment Review host Kwasi Aboagye, stating that the board had been considering announcing the Artiste of the Year winner before the end of the year.
The Head of Public Events and Communications at Charterhouse Ghana further emphasized that Stonebwoy’s statement would not be the determining factor for the announcement. Instead, they would announce at their own discretion and when they deemed it appropriate.
Stonebwoy was in a buoyant mood when he achieved a historic milestone by clinching the prestigious Artiste of the Year award for the second time in the history of the 25th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).
While basking in the euphoria of the moment, the honcho of the Bhim Nation fraternity expressed his firm belief that he rightfully won the 2019 edition of the award amidst the controversy that ensued during the ceremony.
Therefore, when Stonebwoy accepted his award for the 2024 edition, he pleaded with Charterhouse to announce him as the winner to solidify his position as the ultimate winner on multiple occasions and set a record.
